Honoring the kind invitation of the Regional Programme for Political Dialogue and Regional Integration South Mediterranean of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Tunis, Deputy Director Márton Ugrósdy took part in the expert workshop titled „Russia in the Mediterranean” on September 25-26.


Honoring the kind invitation of the Regional Programme for Political Dialogue and Regional Integration South Mediterranean of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Tunis, Deputy Director Márton Ugrósdy took part in the expert workshop titled „Russia in the Mediterranean” on September 25-26. The event was held with the participation of the leading experts of the topic, who were selected from Turkey through Tunisia to the United States. Every expert had the opportunity to present his or her own ideas about the current security situtation in the Mediterranean basin, as well as Central and Southeast Europe. Mr. Ugrósdy spoke about the challenges NATO’s Eastern flank is facing, and highlighted the success of the military excercises which were held during the summer in Hungary and the neighboring countries.
