Hungary and Central Europe in the European Union

Sándor Gyula Nagy, senior research fellow of the IFAT has just returned from his 5 weeks trip in Peru, Mexico and Cuba. During his trip, he was invited to a roundtable discussion at the Cuban diplomatic academy (Instituto Superior de Ralciones Internacionales, ISRI) to speak with the institute’s professors and the researchers of the Cuban institute for foreign affairs (Centro de Investigaciones de Política Internacional, CIPI) about „Hungary and Central Europe in the European Union”.

He was holding a lecture in a similar topic to the students of MA Program of Modern History of the Faculty of Philosophy, History and Sociology of the University of Havana. Before the roundtable discussion he was received by the vice-rector for academic affairs of the ISRI, Dr. C. Leyde E. Rodriguez Hernández together with the Ambassador of Hungary to Cuba, Dr. András Drexler.
