IFAT was represented at 16+1 think tank symposium in Skopje

In the framework of the cooperation of China and 16 Central and Eastern European countries the symposium of thinks tanks focusing on foreign affairs is organised on an annual basis. In 2018 the event was hosted by Macedonia.

Péter Goreczky, analyst of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT) participated in the event as an invited speaker in one of the panel discussions in which he summarized the opportunities of Hungarian small and medium sized enterprises in China as an export market. In the symposium most presentations concerned various dimensions of the 16+1 cooperation, analysing issues like financial and regional aspects of collaboration and the recent dynamics of inward Chinese investments in Europe.
