On March 5, our IFAT hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition entitled "100th anniversary of the Extraordinary Diplomatic Mission of Ukrainian People’s Republic in Hungary". The photo exhibition gives an insight into the everyday life of the Ukrainian Embassy in Budapest between 1919 and 1924.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Márton Ugrósdy, director of IFAT had an opening speech that was followed by the thoughts of Ottó Iván Róna, Head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Ljubov Nepop, the ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary. They both emphasized the importance of historical ties and expressed their hope that the current bilateral relationship is progressing more and more. In this context, they both expressed hope for Ukraine's successful Euro-Atlantic integration efforts.
The photo exhibition is open until March 19 at our Institute.
