Visit of the Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research

In the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, deputy director Dr. László Vasa and his colleagues welcomed the delegation of Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research (CAMR).


In the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, deputy director Dr. László Vasa and his colleagues welcomed the delegation of Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research (CAMR). Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade joined the meeting as well. Head of the Chinese delegation was Bi Jiyao, Ph.D., vice president of CAMR. The Chinese institute is the only think tank in the Asian country being specialised in macroeconomic theory and policy research. The delegation visited Hungary in order to analyse economic and trade relations between the two countries. In the meeting bilateral trade and investment relations, the ‘16+1’ cooperation and the issue of joining the euro zone were discussed in details.
