Anett Arany received her Bachelor degree in the Security and Defence Policy program of Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University and her Master degree in International Relations at Eötvös Loránd University. She joined the team of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and Trade as an intern in 2014, then as an external research fellow in 2017. Her fields of research include the Kurdish minorities of the Middle East, especially in the case of Turkey and Syria. She is the co-author of the book entitled "The Caliphate of the Islamic State" published in 2016.
