Dženita Šiljak earned a master's degree in International Economy and Business from Corvinus University of Budapest and holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in economics from University of Sarajevo. She is an author and co-author of several academic papers written in English. Her main fields of research are European Integration and tranzition economics including Balkan countries. As an external expert of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, her research focuses on the Western Balkans and the European integration. She speaks Bosniak (native), English, Italian and French.
