Diplomatic Encyclopedia

On 17 July 2018 the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade hosted a roundtable discussion to launch the book entitled “Diplomatic Encyclopedia”. The invited speakers included administrative editor János Sáringer, former Minister for Foreign Affairs János Martonyi, editor Iván Bába and Deputy State Secretary for Cultural Diplomacy Márton Schőberl.

Opening and Identity – Geopolitics, World Trade, Europe

On 20th June 2018, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade hosted the book launch of the recent volume titled „Opening and Identity – Geopolitics, World Trade, Europe” by János Martonyi. The invited speakers included the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and author János Martonyi, Chairman of the Committe on Foreign Affairs of the Hungarian National Assembly Zsolt Németh, and professor emeritus Tibor Várady. The event was moderated by Márton Schőberl, Director of IFAT.

Public lecture by Prof. Mohamed Ait Kadi from Morocco on the effects of climate change in Africa

On 10th May 2018, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade hosted the public lecture of Prof. Mohamed Ait Kadi, President of the General Council on Agricultural Development of the Kingdom of Morocco. The event was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Budapest.

Danish delegation visited IFAT

The delegation of the Danish Foreign Policy Society (DFPS) visited the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT) on 16 April 2018 to get informed on Hungarian foreign and domestic affairs. On the four-party event, beside DFPS and IFAT, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), and the College for Advanced Studies of Diplomacy in Practice (CASDP) were represented.
