Sergio Eduardo Moreira Lima visited the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade

On 30 August, former Brazilian ambassador to Budapest Sergio Eduardo Moreira Lima visited the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade in his capacity as president of the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (Fundação Alexandre de Gusmão, FUNAG).

Experts of IFAT delivered lectures at the 19th Euro-Atlantic Summer University

Several experts of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade attended the 19th Euro-Atlantic Summer University, held between 22-27th July, 2018. Director Márton Ugrósdy as well as Bence Németh, Tamás Levente Molnár, Máté Szalai and Gergely Varga research fellows participated in the event organized jointly by the Budapest Garrison Brigade "Vitéz Sándor Szurmay" and the Center for Strategic and Defense Studies of the National University of Public Service in Szolnok.

IFAT conference on cyber security challenges in Central and Eastern Europe

On 24th May 2018, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade hosted a conference entitled “Cyber Threats in Central and Eastern Europe: Perspectives from the Visegrad 4 and the Baltics” with the involvement of experts from these two regions. The guest of honor was H.E. Ms. Marina Kaljurand, former Foreign Minister of Estonia.
