On 7 December 2018 the University of Szeged Faculty of Law and Political Sciences hosted the most recent event of the “Ask the Expert!” roundtable-discussion series titled “Syria – A Battleground for Great Powers?” Péter Wagner Ph.D, Máté Szalai, Bence Németh and Zoltán Egeresi represented the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade at the event, moderated by Márton Sulyok, Ph.D, Assistant Professor at the Faculty.
On the 30th and 31st of January , 2019, the first Algerian-Hungarian Academic Seminar took place in Algiers with the participation of the researchers from the two countries. Besides the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Corvinus University of Budapest, the University of Szeged, the University of Public Service, the Századvég Foundation, as well as the Hungarian Academy of Sciences was represented in the Hungarian delegation.
