IFAT, together with International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) held a video conference on May 28, 2020 to discuss the issues of relations between Ukraine and Hungary in the context of regional security. Krisztina Márfi, first deputy of the Hungarian Embassy in Kiev, and György Ilyash, IFAT researcher and our Ukrainian partners, Mykola Kapitonenko (ICPS), Anastacia Galouchka (ICPS) and Dmytro Tuzhanskyi presented their views on developing cooperation between the two countries in a joint video conference. The event is a joint project between ICPS and IFAT to promote mutual understanding between our countries. The related joint study and recommendations was also presented at the event. During the dialogue, the experts reviewed the areas of Hungarian-Ukrainian defence and security cooperation, Ukraine-NATO relations and the need to strengthen regional cooperation, and took a position in favour of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
