Brazil has voted: lessons and perspectives
The Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT) held a roundtable discussion on 7 November, 2022, focusing on the evaluation of the results of the Brazilian presidential election. The discussion was attended by Dr. Judit Ricz (Center for Economic and Regional Studies, Institute of World Economy) and Dr. Gyula Sándor Nagy (Department of World Economy, Institute of Global Studies, Budapest Corvinus University). The event was moderated by Dr. Béla Soltész (IFAT).

The Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade (IFAT) hosted an online event entitled “Brazil’s Geopolitics and Foreign Policy: two challenges for the 21st Century”. The invited expert was Nuno Morgado Ph.D., who is an Assistant Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Department of Geography, Geoeconomy and Sustainable Development, and also an Adjunkt Professor at the Institute of Political Studies at Charles University, Prague. The discussion was moderated by Viktor Eszterhai Ph.D., Senior Research Fellow at IFAT.

Coronavirus and Governance in Latin America – a webinar by IFAT
On 15 June 2020, the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade organized a webinar about the effects of the coronavirus on Latin America, discussing the events and trends with a focus on domestic politics in Brazil and Mexico.
